❤️👍 Quick Blessings! October 9, 2023

Howdy again Reader!

It's Monday, Columbus Day, and I worked today to get the school all ready. I'm home, I still have a few things to prepare for the week...

So here are some QUICK BLESSINGS!

  • I'm grateful for the ability to read and learn from other people's stories. Biographies can be so powerful...we get to see some of ourselves in them and can see the magic of possibility laid a little more bare for us.

I'm currently listening to and reading "Elon Musk," by Walter Isaacson...and I'm entranced.

As a side note, I love the "Whispersync" where I get the Audible version and the Kindle version, and I can listen in the car and pick up reading where it left off on my Kindle. Tech is so cool.
  • Plastic/rubber coatings for our electronics and wires. They keep us safer and non-shocked when we use them.

  • The end to vacations and having to come back to work. I'm so thankful for a business and profession, and that I get the honor to work. I appreciate having the means and circumstances to even be able to take the vacation. I love being able to make a difference in the lives of the people we serve, and even a new perspective that we get to be outside of our day-to-day life. It's also so cool.

  • My wife cuddles me sometimes from behind when I'm sleeping. I'm pretty sure she loves me. That makes me really happy and grateful.

  • Being able to plan on paper. It's a blessing and a great exercise for the mind. I love to see it form from an ambiguous idea and formalize it into a real tangible thought. It's just awesome. Thank you for this blessing!

Have a wonderful night/day/week!

You are worthy of all of the work you do on yourself. You're worthy of the great ambitions. Go for it, okay?

With love,

❤️👍 Chip

P.S. Tell me if you decide to get the Elon biography. I'd love to compare notes.

Howdy Reader, So today, I had to say goodbye to two Heroes at our school. It's always a sad thing and absolutely the worst part about owning and running a school. We get so attached to these wonderful little human beings. We see their potential. We want the best for them. We see their growth. And then we see them leave. It hurts, and I am very sad today. Something that I think about with these, and it's taught in my courses on JOY...Is that JOY can encompass sadness. It's greater than that. Joy...

HowdyReader! Our vacation is ending today, and I’ll be sending these out regularly this week. I wanted to get some Blessings out to you, to hopefully help your day. Please think of these for you, and if you’re so inclined—make a list of your own! Here are the BLESSINGS: My son is so affectionate and gives me hugs often, he wants to hold me a lot, and will sneak a little beso (kiss) on an available arm, or back when he can. I’ve been feeling his love this week a lot, and it’s such a blessing....

Howdy again Reader! I’m writing these blessings from vacation and once again on my phone, as I didn’t bring my computer, on purpose! We have an amazing room, with a view of the jungle, a river, and Puerto Vallarta Bay, which lights up at night to give us nighttime views to go along with what I’m seeing now. It’s just amazing. I love these moments and just occasionally feel…inadequate…to have all of the blessings I do. That’s something I need to work on, as we can all feel like we deserve what...
