❤️👍 Blessings on a day for Alec

Howdy Reader!

It was a pretty big day for us as we had Alec tested for a few things (nothing medically serious). My wife and I went and it was wonderful to be with her, even if we were just sitting in the waiting room or our car.

Let's get to the BLESSINGS!

  • The healing power and innate intelligence of our bodies. I've probably mentioned this one before--but it is just amazing how our bodies know how to take our energy from food and translate that to new cells and ways of operating. That's just amazing to me.

  • Cell towers most everywhere to get our signals to phones. We just take it for granted that all of this was done on our behalf.

  • I'm feeling icky physically right now, and that's seeming to affect my energy and mood. I had a fever last night, and my heart rate was elevated. My sleep wasn't that restorative, and it felt like a little malaise was hanging over my soul.

I love that our spirits are inextricably linked to our physical selves and that one affects the other. I love that we can affect the way we feel with our actions and how we take care of ourselves.

And, if something is wrong--we can usually do something to help fix it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • My wife's skill and expertise at her job--she's one of the best mortgage officer's in the entire country, literally. I was watching her handle a tough situation today--and she just does it with grace, character, knowledge, and care. She's just amazing at her job (and most everything else, not that I'm biased). I'm just grateful for that.

  • Dancing. I'm not doing it now as I'm hurting a bit, but I love doing it, I love watching it, and I love that we as humans feel the need to move rhythmically when we hear music. So cool. Thank you for this wondrous design!

Thank you for reading!

I will see you right here very soon, and I wish the very best for you. I'm rooting for you!

With love,

❤️👍 Chip

Howdy Reader, So today, I had to say goodbye to two Heroes at our school. It's always a sad thing and absolutely the worst part about owning and running a school. We get so attached to these wonderful little human beings. We see their potential. We want the best for them. We see their growth. And then we see them leave. It hurts, and I am very sad today. Something that I think about with these, and it's taught in my courses on JOY...Is that JOY can encompass sadness. It's greater than that. Joy...

Howdy again Reader! It's Monday, Columbus Day, and I worked today to get the school all ready. I'm home, I still have a few things to prepare for the week...So here are some QUICK BLESSINGS! I'm grateful for the ability to read and learn from other people's stories. Biographies can be so powerful...we get to see some of ourselves in them and can see the magic of possibility laid a little more bare for us. I'm currently listening to and reading "Elon Musk," by Walter Isaacson...and I'm...

HowdyReader! Our vacation is ending today, and I’ll be sending these out regularly this week. I wanted to get some Blessings out to you, to hopefully help your day. Please think of these for you, and if you’re so inclined—make a list of your own! Here are the BLESSINGS: My son is so affectionate and gives me hugs often, he wants to hold me a lot, and will sneak a little beso (kiss) on an available arm, or back when he can. I’ve been feeling his love this week a lot, and it’s such a blessing....
