❤️👍 Blessings and I lied.

Howdy Reader!

It's Monday.

And the last time I wrote you, I said that I'd have the setup for The God Bookend Training done...and...I hate to say it, but I don't.

That means that I lied.

I think I shouldn't have made a rash promise, as one, there is more to it than I thought that there was--

And two, the more important, is that I do this with the care and attention that it deserves. To have put it out on Saturday before it was ready would be an even worse disservice to you.

So--that will be done when it's ready--and I promise a fantastic God Bookend Training for you.

I had a God Bookend this morning, and it was spectacular. I will be using it as an example of how to do these. I jotted it out beforehand. I set the stage, and I got a great download that I needed...in this case, to take care of ME first, and then let things flow from that.

Of course, I'll explain all of that in the training.

But right now, I want to get to the BLESSINGS:

  • Wonderful weekends with family and friends. I had one such weekend, and it was so good. I had dinner on Friday with my father, stepmother, and all of my sister's family, including her three amazing grandchildren. On Saturday I had breakfast with Blayne--my soon-to-be son-in-law, and that night, my wife and I had a double date with Hal Elrod and his wife Ursula...and it was just all so good. Effortless conversation, laughing, ideas, and lots of love.

I'm so grateful for these times, they're such a big part of living and life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • Glass cleaner wipes. I use them for my often smudged reading glasses and everything becomes more clear, literally.

  • I felt pretty disgusted with myself for yesterday--which was spent doing almost nothing other than watching football for many hours straight, eating poorly, and getting absolutely nothing done.

I'm grateful for this because this feeling of not being happy with myself over this is going to help not do it next week (actually I think I'll be on vacation then), and the weeks thereafter.

I can also look at why I'm so disgusted with myself over this and unpack that. I feel I should be working on Sundays--writing, doing my sales pages, continuing on my book, etc...and maybe I should...but why am I so upset when I don't? It's a question I'm grateful that I can answer.
  • The profound answers of children at our school. I get them to write gratitude (there's a shocker! 😂) at the beginning of their day. Sometimes we share what we're grateful for.

One eight-year-old girl, very precious and wonderful said that she's grateful for GRACE, and even being able to BE grateful. Wow. So wonderful. Moments like that make me very happy with what I'm doing.

  • How much I hate admin work! That's good, because when I actually am forced to do it, I'm efficient with it to get it over fast. It's a little like sticking pencils in my eyes. I'll be doing some more of it, and getting a payment system working, and having a pow-wow with our accountant.

I'm grateful to do things that I don't enjoy, and I'm also grateful when I can hire that out (the WHO not HOW concept)!

And that's it for today.

Please know that you're loved. One of the things that I'm doing to take care of myself is going back to the "mirror work," and telling that awesome guy in the mirror that I love him.

I hope that you know that YOU are loved!

With love,

❤️👍 Chip

Howdy Reader, So today, I had to say goodbye to two Heroes at our school. It's always a sad thing and absolutely the worst part about owning and running a school. We get so attached to these wonderful little human beings. We see their potential. We want the best for them. We see their growth. And then we see them leave. It hurts, and I am very sad today. Something that I think about with these, and it's taught in my courses on JOY...Is that JOY can encompass sadness. It's greater than that. Joy...

Howdy again Reader! It's Monday, Columbus Day, and I worked today to get the school all ready. I'm home, I still have a few things to prepare for the week...So here are some QUICK BLESSINGS! I'm grateful for the ability to read and learn from other people's stories. Biographies can be so powerful...we get to see some of ourselves in them and can see the magic of possibility laid a little more bare for us. I'm currently listening to and reading "Elon Musk," by Walter Isaacson...and I'm...

HowdyReader! Our vacation is ending today, and I’ll be sending these out regularly this week. I wanted to get some Blessings out to you, to hopefully help your day. Please think of these for you, and if you’re so inclined—make a list of your own! Here are the BLESSINGS: My son is so affectionate and gives me hugs often, he wants to hold me a lot, and will sneak a little beso (kiss) on an available arm, or back when he can. I’ve been feeling his love this week a lot, and it’s such a blessing....
