❤️👍 Blessings and a last hurrah!

Howdy Reader!

Here are some quick Blessings from my phone at the Dallas Airport on our way to the last big family vacation as the fabulous Franks Five…as Mandy is getting married in March.

Here are the BLESSINGS!

  • All of the minor miracles that happen each day. The airplanes that all land safely, the car accidents that don’t happen. The billions of peaceful interactions between humans. Just amazing.
  • Water fountains. I got really hydrated before this flight.
  • Vacation weight. I usually end up weighing more after a vacation. We are blessed with abundant, wonderful food. And it will get me in the gym on this trip and lots and lots of walks!
  • We have some really kind children at our school. They treat each other really well and have a lot of character. Thank you!
  • Fences and guards to keep our car safe while we are in another country this week! I noticed them as I was leaving the car. Security looked tight, and I appreciate that. Thank you!

And that’s it today!

You are loved, and deserving of the finest things in all of the world!

With love,

❤️👍 Chip

What it needs more of are Joyful Savages — people who’ve done the work to genuinely love being alive, even in hard seasons. After a stroke at 45 left him broken and depressed, Chip rebuilt his brain through a gratitude practice so systematic and neurologically grounded that it became something others could replicate. He’s now on a mission to help high performers transform from success without satisfaction to lives fully savored. Through The Joyful Savage Movement and the A-OK a Day Foundation, Chip is building a cultural shift — one where gratitude isn’t fluffy, it’s fierce. Howdy Reader, So today, I had to say goodbye to two Heroes at our school. It's always a sad thing and absolutely the worst part about owning and running a school. We get so attached to these wonderful little human beings. We see their potential. We want the best for them. We see their growth. And then we see them leave. It hurts, and I am very sad today. Something that I think about with these, and it's taught in my courses on JOY...Is that JOY can encompass sadness. It's greater than that. Joy...

Howdy again Reader! It's Monday, Columbus Day, and I worked today to get the school all ready. I'm home, I still have a few things to prepare for the week...So here are some QUICK BLESSINGS! I'm grateful for the ability to read and learn from other people's stories. Biographies can be so powerful...we get to see some of ourselves in them and can see the magic of possibility laid a little more bare for us. I'm currently listening to and reading "Elon Musk," by Walter Isaacson...and I'm...

HowdyReader! Our vacation is ending today, and I’ll be sending these out regularly this week. I wanted to get some Blessings out to you, to hopefully help your day. Please think of these for you, and if you’re so inclined—make a list of your own! Here are the BLESSINGS: My son is so affectionate and gives me hugs often, he wants to hold me a lot, and will sneak a little beso (kiss) on an available arm, or back when he can. I’ve been feeling his love this week a lot, and it’s such a blessing....
